The resurrection of Jesus Christ

By  WISDOMVERSES No comments:

The resurrection of Jesus
'In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men. And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you. And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word. And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him. Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me. 'Matthew 28:1-10
Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came very early in the morning, after the Sabbath, to anoint the body of the Lord, and they said to one another, who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulcher? And an angel of the Lord, having rolled away the stone, sat upon it. Then they saw the angel, and his appearance like a lightning, and his clothes were as white as snow and they were afraid.
The angel then said to the women
1. “Why seek you the living among the dead?
2. “He is not here, but is risen: remember that he spoke unto you when he was in Galilee,
3. "The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of the wicked and be crucified, and rise on the third day."
4. “Come and see the place where the Lord lay.
5. “And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead.”
As told by the angel, Mary Magdalene saw in the tomb, but what was recorded in her mind was that there was no body of the Lord.
She hurried to report to the apostles, and met Peter and John and told them, "They have taken the Lord from the tomb, and we know not where they have laid him." It was John who first realized the marvelous message of the Resurrection. He, saw, believed, and wrote, while others were still unaware of the scripture that Jesus had to Risen from the dead.
The resurrection of Jesus is one of the most important parts of the gospel truths.
'For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; after that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. '1 Corinthians 15:3,7-8
The importance of the resurrection of Christ to all who believe in Him
1. Confirmation that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
‘Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. 'John 10:17-18
'Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 'Romans 6:4'And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. '1 Corinthians 15:17
3. He confirms the authenticity of the Scriptures. Then opened he their mind, that they might understand the scriptures;
'And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead. 'Acts 17:30-31
4. Our daily experience and power of Christ will make us victorious over sin.
'I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. 'Galatians 2:20 'The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 'Ephesians 1:18-20
After his resurrection, Christ remained on the earth for forty days, appearing and speaking to the apostles and his followers.
1. to Mary Magdalene. 'Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her. 'John 20:18
2. to the women who returned to the tomb.
'And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him. 'Matthew 28:9
3. to Peter
'Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon. 'Luke 24:34
4. On the same day, two of the disciples
'And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs. And it came to pass, as he sat at the table with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them. And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight. And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures? 'Luke 24:13,30-32
5. All who believe in Christ and his gospel should be baptized in water.
'And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord. 'Acts 22:16
6. Christ will be with his faithful followers through the power of the Holy Spirit.
' And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. 'Luke 24:49
' But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. 'Acts 1:8

Shut your doors behind

By  WISDOMVERSES No comments:

Shut your doors behind
‘Come, my people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until the fury has passed by. ‘Isaiah 26:20
The wrath of God will come It represented the removal and separation of the pagans all around them, perhaps as blood was drawn into Babylon. The captive nation of Israel was called to become a holy nation.
What should we do now as we face many of the dangers of living in a world filled with death and evil?
When God shut up the ark to save Noah and his family from the flood and also when he saved The Jews who were in Egypt from the plague by having them put the blood of the lamb on the outside of the doorposts and then shut the doors; we are seeing the power of God at work to separate his people from those that did not obey his laws.
'And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the Lord shut him in. 'Genesis 7:16
'And the Lord said unto Moses, Yet will I bring one plague more upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence: when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out hence altogether. 'Exodus 11:1
1. We must take refuge in the dangers of God's judgment so that we may seek refuge in our home, not to escape famine, persecution, or danger, but to seek our trust in God.
2. So that we may place our trust in Him, not in our own wisdom or knowledge, and not only in the judgment which He brings but also in the eternal death He Himself will bring.
3. The only thing we can do when we are trusting in God is to wait for God to send us home to Heaven now or later in the future.
4. Patience, waiting for God to bring a new world, is one of the most important Christian qualities.
5. Those who faithfully wait until the work of God is completed will receive an eternal reward from God.
6. We must distinguish ourselves from living as secular people. We do not separate ourselves from the world by turning away from the non-Christians, and the Word of God commands us to be light and salt in this fallen world so that people can come into the kingdom of God.
'"You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet. "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. 'Matthew 5:13-14

God's protection

By  WISDOMVERSES No comments:

God's protection
'He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord , He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the Lord , which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.'Psalms 91:1-16
God is our refuge, and he assures us that we can seek his protection in the face of spiritual and physical danger.
'The breath of our nostrils, the anointed of the Lord, was taken in their pits, of whom we said, under his shadow we shall live among the heathen. '
Lamentations 4:20
He gives assurance to the children of God, who have surrendered themselves to the will and protection of the Most High God, and who want to live daily in your dream.
'And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me; 'Isaiah 49:2
'To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. '
Psalms 63:2
' O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! 'Matthew 23:37
1. God who is my refuge and my stronghold testifies that God is my refuge and my stronghold, because he who is a refuge of the Most High, the God of his refuge, guarantees his life.
2. God protects his people from enemies, shields them under His wing.
3. The care of God is firm and sufficient because He is faithful to His people. The protection of God protects him from the fear that comes from natural causes, such as day and night.
4. He has complete authority over all that is on the earth, and there is no limit to His protection. He describes it as a thousand and ten thousand to show that His care and protection are the greatness of God.
5. The righteous eye of the salvation of the Lord strengthens them by the sight of faith. God promises to protect and bless the righteous;
6. He encourages the Most High to follow the path of wisdom. He is their refuge. Everything that happens on earth is controlled by Him.
7 God commands his angels to protect them wherever they go. His angels are commanded to protect and rescue the righteous.
8. God makes His salvation a message of salvation to those who love Him and to all who know His name. The word for love is a deep desire and longing for God.
9. Their union with Him, which unites their fellowship, assures them that they will rejoice in the life they have heard, through their prayers and discernment.
10. Understand God’s purpose—peace and eternal life
God loves you and wants you to experience peace and eternal, fulfilling life.

Guide line for the New Year

By  WISDOMVERSES No comments:

With a new year before us, we look to the Bible for direction. Fortunately, the Bible is rich in stories and words of renewal and of God’s loving plan for each and every one of our lives. Here are seven verses to keep in mind as the New Year begins.
The promise of restoration
'Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. '2 Corinthians 5:17
 The time of God
'Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. 'Psalms 37:7
 Letting go of the past
'Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. 'Isaiah 43:18-19
The Lord has a plan for us
'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord , thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 'Jeremiah 29:11
Hope for the future
'For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off. '
Proverbs 23:18
Refreshment of the heart and spirit
'And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: 'Ezekiel 11:19
Trust in the Lord
'Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 'Proverbs 3:5-6

She will bear a son, Matthew 1:21

By  WISDOMVERSES No comments:
She will bear a son
God created man. Everyone has fallen into sin. Everyone is God's creation. Not everyone is God's Son. Just because Jesus was born on earth to die on the cross for all people He is still the Son of God.
'Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 'John 3:3-5
'But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 'John 1:12
Jesus, even if born in a barn, cannot   benefit us unless He is born into our hearts. We can be religious and do many things for God but being born again on earth does not help us if we do not accept Jesus as the one who did what He did for us on the cross. This is what Jesus said to a law teacher named Nicodemus who admired Him.
We can celebrate Christmas in a variety of religious ceremonies, but we can only truly appreciate Jesus from our heart. If Jesus does not dwell in our hearts, we have missed the purpose of His coming to earth and being born of the Virgin Mary.
'She will give birth to a son, and you will call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.' ”Matthew 1:21
Jesus' birth on earth as a pauper was just to signify that he was born among the people. If he was not born among the people, they could not be saved by hearing the message of the good news.
'And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 'Mark 16:15-16
Not only   because we are religious mean we are automatically saved; it is only by accepting Jesus as Savior and Lord that saves us from sin.
'For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.'John 3:16
People are accepting and being saved by Jesus every day and every minute. But we are deceived if we think we are saved just because of Jesus’ birth on earth. Jesus must be born into our hearts.
We need to trust the gospel in order for the birth of Jesus to benefit us. The good news of God's saving power is the good news that Jesus died for our sins.
'For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 'Romans 1:16

Knowledge

By  WISDOMVERSES No comments:
Knowledge
The Bible does not mean that it is not good to have a soul without a conscience. Some people have a lot of knowledge of the Bible but their knowledge does not benefit from the change of life. Mental knowledge is a limited knowledge that cannot be translated into action. Mental knowledge is knowledge of the Bible as a book and a limited knowledge of the Bible is of history and physics.
Intellectual mentality does not liberate, liberation is the knowledge of revelation. Whether a person has intellectual enlightenment or revealing knowledge will be tested in practice or not. A person with a brain cannot do what he knows. If you do not know what to do  about something, you have only intellectual knowledge.
'Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do. and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 'James 1:22-25
There is no person who has only intellectuality who has the knowledge of revelation. Those who have a sense of knowledge cruelly slay the weak when they are not strong enough to support the weak. But a person with enlightenment will help others as family. Only a person with a mental state knows the alphabet. Someone with enlightenment also knows the Spirit.
'He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. '2 Corinthians 3:6
An intellectual with knowledge of God has a hearing ear. A man of revelation God knows himself. Only a person with intellectual intelligence knows that his knowledge stays with his mind, not with his life.
'For we also have had the good news proclaimed to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because they did not share the faith of those who obeyed. 'Hebrews 4:2
A man of revelry has the word in his life. Only a person with a mental state is guided by his mind. The person with manifesting knowledge is guided by the spirit of the heart.
'nor does his word dwell in you, for you do not believe the one he sent. You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life. 'John 5:38-40
A person with intellectual enlightenment seems knowledgeable, but without knowledge, he closes himself for the practical knowledge. A person with a mental state pretends to be deceiving himself. A man of revelry passes God into full service.
'The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life. 'John 6:63

The kingdom of God

By  WISDOMVERSES No comments:

Seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness; all those who follow Christ uphold His kingdom and His righteousness.
1) Rejoice in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. 'Psalm 37: 4 we must earnestly desire that the "kingdom of God", the law and the power of God, be manifested in our lives and in our congregations.
2) We need to seek “righteousness,” that is, through the Holy Spirit, to obey the law of Christ, to inherit the righteousness of Christ, to be separate from the world, and to show Christ to all.
The kingdom of God
The kingdom of God is basically the exercise of divine power. 'Jesus answered and said unto him, if a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 'John 14:23; 'And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: 'John 20:22; 'Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence,1 Isaiah 64: 1; 'And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power. 'Mark 9:1;   'For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power. '1 Corinthians 4:20.We must view this power, not as a physical or political force, but as a spiritual power. God's kingdom is not a religious and political divinity; it is not the social and political rule over the governments of this world. 'Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. 'John 18:36. At this time God will not do any social or political activity in order to redeem and renew the world, and he will not use force 'Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. ' Matthew 26:52
The world in this time will become the enemy of God and of his ' If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. 'John 15:19
'I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. 'Romans 12:1-2, 'Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. 'James 4:4; 'Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever. '1 John 2:15-17 ; 'And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 'Revelation 19:11-12
2) The manifestation of the power of God causes the devil's kingdom to be filled with fear 'And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. 'Matthew 4:3-7' Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house. 'Matthew 12:29; 'Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God. 'Mark 1:24; Anyone refuses to submit to the Kingdom of God or not. 'In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. 'Matthew 3:1-2; 'From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. 'Matthew 4:17;'Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. 'Mark 1:14-15 It is necessary to enter into the kingdom of God The basic condition is to "repent," and to accept the word believe in the gospel.

Fear of the Lord

By  WISDOMVERSES No comments:

Fear of the Lord
'The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. 'Proverbs 1:7
Many people invest a lot of time and resource to gain knowledge. There are various kinds of knowledge one can pursue. In general, there are two types of knowledge. The first kind is good knowledge that leads to Godly understanding and brings blessings. And then there is the second kind of knowledge that is in the same category as the knowledge Adam and Eve acquired as they ate the forbidden fruit that ultimately brought the curse on all humanity. The wisest man in biblical history, King Solomon, in speaking about the first kind of knowledge, he wrote, ‘the fear of the Lord is beginning of knowledge’. Unless we fear God, we will not strive to live a righteous life. Even when you have the fear of God in your heart, there will still be challenges as we have to contend with our flesh, the world and the enemy. God’s word reminds us that all our ways are before the Lord. There is nothing hidden from Him. There is not a thought he cannot see or anything we do that can be kept a secret from him. God’s presence is everywhere. The Psalmist writes beautifully about how God’s presence is not limited that there is not a place where he is

Habakkuk complains to the Lord

By  WISDOMVERSES No comments:
Habakkuk Complains to the Lord
'This is a prophecy that Habakkuk the prophet received from the Lord . Here is what Habakkuk said. Lord , how long do I have to call out for help? Why don’t you listen to me? How long must I keep telling you that things are terrible? Why don’t you save us? 'Habakkuk 1:1-2
Habakkuk 1:1. The burden — The grievous calamities, or heavy judgments; which Habakkuk did see — That is, foresee, and was commissioned to foretell. This burden, or prophetic vision, communicated to Habakkuk, was against the Chaldeans as well as the Jews. For while the prophet was complaining of iniquity among the Jews,
1) God foreshows him the desolations which the Chaldeans would make in Judea and the neighboring countries, as the ministers of divine vengeance: and
2) Upon the prophet’s falling into an expostulation with God about these proceedings, moved thereto probably by his compassion for his own people, God shows him the judgments which he would execute upon the Chaldeans.

Divers temptations

By  WISDOMVERSES No comments:

Divers temptations
'My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 'James 1:2
James says that he is surrounded by many kinds of trials.
 1) Believers Should Accept Such Suffering with Glory. ‘Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. 'Matthew 5:11-12. For testament is better to one another than charity and sincerity. 'And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. 'Romans 5:3-5. 'In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. '1 Peter 1:6

2) Sometimes the Bible teaches that suffering in the lives of believers is God's desire to test the true worth of their faith. The Bible does not teach where God always proves to be angry with us. But suffering is a sign of God's firm conviction of God. 'For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance. 'Hebrews 10:34' Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. 'Hebrews 12:11

The truth will set you free

By  WISDOMVERSES No comments:
The truth will set you free
'Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” 'John 8:32
In view of the human knowledge curriculum, many things are true, but only one truth that can deliver people from sin, destruction, and Satanic rule, which is the truth of Jesus Christ in the Word of God. Here are some of the things to be true.
1) Scripture testifies to the fact that Scripture, especially the basic revelation of Christ and the apostles, liberates from the sin, the world, and Satan's system. 'built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. 'Ephesians 2:20
'because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. 'Romans 8:2
'It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. 'Galatians 5:1
'It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. 'Galatians 5:1,13
2) There is no need for further revelation of the Gospel of Christ in perfection;
'Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. 'John 17:17; 'All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, '2 Timothy 3:16; 'All your words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal. 'Psalm 119:160
3) The truth about salvation is expressed through "the Spirit," but through it God has revealed to us by his Spirit. And the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. "1 Corinthians 2:10 Only God can not create man's wisdom, but only from God. But God has revealed it to us by means of his Spirit. And the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For we received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God; that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. This is what we speak, not from the Word of Christ, but from the teaching of the Spirit, and speaking the things which are spiritual, and by the Spirit. "1 Corinthians 2: 10, 12-13

Obedience

By  WISDOMVERSES No comments:
From Genesis to Revelation the Bible has a lot to say about obedience in the story of the Ten Commandments we see just how important the concept of obedience is to God.
Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;
A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day:
And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known. Deuteronomy 11:26-28
In this brief account, if you obey, you will be blessed, and you will be cursed if you are not obedient. And in the New Testament, in the examples of Jesus Christ, believers are called into the life of obedience; Obedience to Christ is not optional because it is at the very foundation of the Christian life.
Obedience is an essential part of the Christian faith. Jesus himself was Obedient, and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Philippians 2:8
For Christians the act of taking up our cross and following Christ, Then said Jesus unto his disciples, if any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.  Matthew 16:24 means obedience. The Bible says that we show our love for Jesus by obeying Him in all things; “If ye love me, keep my commandments”. John 14:15
A Christian who is not obeying Christ’s commands can rightly he asked. And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Luke 6:46

"What is the gospel?"

By  WISDOMVERSES No comments:

The gospel is good news for all mankind. Repentance, salvation, peace, salvation, reconciliation, judgment, salvation. The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ proclaimed the good news of the kingdom of God, in the synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom of God, and healing every disease and sickness among the people. Matthew 4:23, 'After John was put in prison, Jesus Preaching the gospel, and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe in the gospel. Mark 1: 14-15). The Primary message of the gospel is the remission of sins found in believing in Christ Jesus. They proclaimed that Jesus Christ died on behalf of mankind and that he was raised from the dead so that they could be saved from the wrath of God, and they pleaded with Him to be condemned to death, even though they had no excuse for death. But God raised him from the dead. "Acts 13: 28-30, ‘Be it known to you, brothers, that through this one to you is the forgiveness of sins.' Acts 13:38 'With the blood of God's offering, the atonement sacrifice And he did this on the basis of proof of his righteousness, [...] that he might execute his justice upon the principle of faith, just as it is justified by the faith of Jesus. "Romans 3: 25-26, For I delivered to you, that Christ died for our sins and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the Scriptures "(1 Corinthians 15: 3-4).
The good news of the gospel is to show that there is no substitute for the return of Christ Jesus to the believer on the cross.
Mankind believes in the work of salvation on the cross and receives the remission of sin
  • He is reconciled to God through His Son, Jesus Christ
  • He will be the rightful Son of God
  • God's eternal kingdom will be enjoyed
  • Returns to God's original fellowship with God
  • Everlasting life will be revived in this world
  • His eternal address will be redeemed from death
  • The right to proclaim the gospel of the gospel is from God
  • He will be saved from the coming judgment of sin
  • What is the main message of the gospel?

The Primary message of the gospel is the remission of sins found in believing in Christ Jesus. Peter said, "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Acts 2:38, 'He God exalted him with his right hand to be a Prince and a Savior, to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. "Acts 5:31, 'All the prophets testify that through his name everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins.'" Acts 10:43, 'You open their eyes wide open and shine Mischievous to light and from the power of God, and they will receive forgiveness of sins, faith in me will take possession of the Gentiles. ' "Acts 26:18). Since salvation work is performed in Christ Jesus, it is good news that people can believe in and receive eternal life. According to the apostle Paul, the gospel proclaimed the mighty work of salvation on the cross, "Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that he was buried, and that he was raised on the third day according to the scriptures." (1 Corinthians 15: 1-4). The death and resurrection of Christ is the centerpiece of the gospel. The gospel is the work of the cross to declare for all creation: "Faithful is the saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners" (I Timothy 1:15). The Gospel says that people repent of their sins and receive forgiveness for their sins, "So repentance and forgiveness of sins are preached from Jerusalem to all the nations" (Luke 24:47).
Jesus preached this gospel, saying, "Jesus has proclaimed the gospel of the kingdom of God, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe in the gospel "(Mark 1: 14-15). As the scripture says, "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life" ("Whosoever believeth in the Son has everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him" (John 3:36). He will come after the eternal judgment that comes from sin, "he who believes in Him is not condemned." (Acts 3:18). They preached this gospel of the gospel of salvation, and said, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38). Ancient church fathers preached, Reverend leaders of the Reformation announced it,
We are also told to declare it.

Blessed be the name of the Lord

By  WISDOMVERSES No comments:
Blessed be the name of the Lord
'And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord. 'Job 1:21
1) The words of Job in this verse are a testimony to the true value of worldly things. This man, in a short period of time, had almost everything of physical value taken from him. Not only that, he had even lost his servants and his own children.
2) The understanding that Job demonstrated would be tested greatly. He would not only deal with these great losses, but he would face challenges to his faith on every side. He would even be challenged to give up on God. The true believer in Christ knows that true value is in spiritual things and not physical ones. Job clearly believed this to be a truth. Even after everything that had transpired, he still said "blessed be the name of the LORD”. During times of loss, it is sometimes very difficult to see things this way. This is even true of the believer. Although in difficult situations we should be even more inclined to look towards the throne of God for answers, we know that is not always the case. At times, we are overcome by the trials that are placed before us. We need to understand it is part of our walk with God to go through both good times and bad times. Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you.

3) When these difficult days come to our lives, we must learn to place our trust and dependence in God and His Word. The Word of God will always have words of comfort, assurance and advice for those who seek help from the Lord. Times may seem hard. The way may seem impossible. However, the Bible clearly explains the believer can and must overcome. We may be in the midst of the fight, but the ultimate victory is ours. 'Dear friends, don’t be surprised by the terrible things happening to you. The trouble you are having has come to test you. So don’t feel as if something strange were happening to you. '1 Peter 4:12, 'We are pushed hard from all sides. But we are not beaten down. We are bewildered. But that doesn’t make us lose hope. Others make us suffer. But God does not desert us. We are knocked down. But we are not knocked out. '2 Corinthians 4:8-9

Those who trust in the Lord

By  WISDOMVERSES No comments:
Those who trust in the Lord
'But those who trust in the Lord will receive new strength. They will fly as high as eagles. They will run and not get tired. They will walk and not grow weak. ‘Isaiah 40:31
They who wait upon the Lord- The word rendered here “wait”, denotes waiting upon the Lord   with a sense of expectancy. The phrase,’ to wait on Yahweh ‘means to wait on his help; that is to trust in him and to put our hopes and confidence in him. This is applicable to those who are in circumstance of danger, need, and who look to him for his merciful intervention.
'Those who put their hope in you will never be put to shame. But those who lie to other people for no reason will be put to shame. Lord, show me your ways. Teach me how to follow you. Guide me in your truth. Teach me. You are God my Savior. I put my hope in you all day long. 'Psalm 25:3-5
'Wait for the Lord. Be strong and don’t lose hope. Wait for the Lord.’
Psalm 27:14
'In Jerusalem there was a man named Simeon. He was a good and godly man. He was waiting for God’s promise to Israel to come true. The Holy Spirit was with him. 'Luke 2:25
'There was also a prophet named Anna. She was the daughter of Penuel from the tribe of Asher. Anna was very old. After getting married, she lived with her husband seven years. Then she was a widow until she was 84. She never left the temple. She worshiped night and day, praying and going without food. Anna came up to Jesus’ family at that moment. She gave thanks to God. And she spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the time when Jerusalem would be set free. 'Luke 2:36-38

Here, the promise of assurance is general in nature.
1/ Those who feel that they are weak, guilty, helpless, and in view of this, they put their hope and trust in the Lord.
2/ The people of God who trust in him shall become strong in faith and able to withstand all physical and spiritual foes and to overcome them so as to gain victory over their sins and to accomplish their duties and trials in life.
God gives them strength if they seek him in the appointed way-this promise has been verified with the experience of his people of every age.
3/By looking to him for help, placing their trust in him and expecting deliverance by his promise.
According to his promise: They, who hope in the lord, will have renewed strength. Peter 1:15 says” who are protected by the power of God through faith, for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time”.
