New Year prayer
Come, Holy Spirit,
Spirit of the
Risen Christ, be with us today and always.
Be our Light, our
Guide, and our Comforter.
Be our Strength,
our Courage, and our Sanctifier.
May this New Year
be a time of deep spiritual growth for us?
A time of
welcoming your graces and gifts,
A time for
forgiving freely and unconditionally,
A time for growing
in virtue and goodness.
Come, Holy Spirit,
Be with us today
and always.

1. Admit your need—that you are a sinner in need of God’s forgiveness.
2. Be willing to turn from trusting in anything else for eternal life
and trust only in Christ.
3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross, came back to
life from the grave, and is your only way to heaven.

through the Holy Spirit (accept that He alone is your Savior)

O God our Father, by the light of the Holy
spirit, lead us to be thankful for the Gift of faith. May we grow in our
relationship with Jesus, your Son. May we be confident witnesses to Christian
hop and joy to all we meet. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord.

heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14
Lord, You have told us in Your Word that
You hear our prayers. We are crying out to You, we are humbling ourselves
before You and seeking Your face. We come together as a church body to seek
You. We repent and turn from our wicked ways, thank You for hearing us. Thank
you for Your forgiveness and healing.

the faith of Your Church. Give her peace and unity according to His will.
He Who lives and reign in the Unity of the Holy Spirit. One God, World without
end.
